Summary

Alligator helps you collect products you find while shopping and view them in one wishlist. The extension works locally in your browser. We do not run servers for this product and we do not sell or share any personal information.

What data the extension processes (on your device)

To provide core functionality, Alligator stores the following on your device (and, if you use Chrome Sync, in your own Google account via chrome.storage.sync):

We do not transmit this data to our servers (we don’t have any for this product). We do not use analytics, ads, cookies, or third-party trackers.

What the extension does not collect

Limited network inspection (how “add to cart” is detected)

On a small set of shopping domains, the extension uses Chrome’s MV3 webRequest API to observe add-to-cart requests so it can prompt you to save an item. Where needed, it briefly inspects request URLs and, on those sites only, parts of the request body to recognize an add action.
